The Shared Ride program gives Indiana County residents independence and accessibility. You will be picked up at your curb in a small accessible INDIGO vehicle and delivered to a destination of your choice. There are some holidays when IndiGO is closed.
IndiGO can transport you to medical appointments and more! We can take you to the grocery store, beauty or barber shop, bank or pretty much anywhere in Indiana County between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (effective Feb. 1, 2024) and to Punxsutawney, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM until the last pick up time of 4:00 PM.
Transportation to Allegheny County is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until the last pick up time of 4:00 PM. We require that two fare paying clients go to constitute the trip to Allegheny County.
Applying for Shared Ride is now done entirely online with the launch of Find My Ride Apply by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Applicants have the ability to enter demographic information and determine the programs they may be eligible for and apply electronically. Visit www.Apply.findmyride.penndot.pa.gov to apply. If you do not have computer access, call 724-465-2140 to find out where you can go locally to receive assistance with the application process.
