Riding an IndiGO bus just got Easier! IndiGO now uses Route Shout, a great way to find out the next bus coming to your stop.
Passengers simply text a stop ID, which is printed on a nearby bus stop sign, and they receive upcoming arrival times for buses scheduled to come through that stop.
Try it out, Text INDMALL to 25252. It’s that Easy! You just received a list of the buses scheduled for the Indiana Mall in the next hour!
Incorporated in July, 1979, IndiGO has grown from a tiny organization in a rented facility with two leased school buses serving 1800 riders in the first year to a flourishing, well funded and vital public transportation provider.
Governed by a Board of Directors (7) appointed by the Indiana County Commissioners, IndiGO employs thirty Indiana County residents and operates 20 vehicles.

Downtown Transit Center
Part of IndiGO’s new, improved service is our Downtown Transit Center, located in the historic 1924 Indiana Theater Building at 637 Philadelphia Street. IndiGO is renovating the lobby with original theater seats for comfortable waiting, and a beautiful climate-controlled interior. (No more waiting in the heat, cold, snow or rain.)
All our buses will stop at the Downtown Transit Center to pick up and drop off passengers, so you’ll never have to wait long to catch your ride.
The Downtown Transit Center will also feature a convenient Ticket Window, During Peak Hours a friendly IndiGO customer service usher will be on duty during operating hours. Stop by the Ticket Window to get schedules or ask questions – we’ll be happy to help.
IndiGO offices and maintenance facility are open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You are cordially invited to visit our offices, at 1657 Saltsburg Avenue, during business hours and meet the people who keep the buses running. You will find all of our drivers to be pleasant, helpful and anxious to be of service.
